Bases Improvements is an Obsidian plugin that enhances the Bases plugin by adding dynamic search filtering to base code blocks and embedded .base files.

Do I need the Bases plugin?​

Yes! Bases Improvements enhances the Bases plugin—it doesn't replace it. You must have the Bases plugin installed and enabled for queries to actually execute.
